Rules for using Carbon Confessions.

By accessing or using Carbon Confessions, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Carbon Confessions provides a space to submit climate-related confessions and receive responses. Some features may be experimental and may change over time.

3. Eligibility

You must use the service in compliance with applicable laws. If you are not legally permitted to use it where you live, do not use it.

4. Accounts (optional)

You may sign in to sync entries across devices. You are responsible for maintaining access to your email account and for activity occurring under your account.

5. User content

You are responsible for the content you submit. Do not include personal information in anything you publish. Public feed submissions may be visible to anyone.

6. Prohibited content and conduct

  • Harassment, hate speech, or threats
  • Doxxing or personal information about yourself or others
  • Illegal content or instructions for wrongdoing
  • Instructions for self-harm, violence, or dangerous acts
  • Spam, scams, or coordinated manipulation
  • Content that infringes intellectual property or other rights

7. Moderation and enforcement

We may review, block, remove, or restrict content and accounts to keep the service safe. Moderation may be automated. We do not guarantee that all prohibited content will be caught.

8. AI responses

Some responses may be generated by AI. AI can be wrong or inappropriate. Responses are for general information and reflection only and are not professional advice.

9. Intellectual property

The service, design, and software are owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use the service as permitted by these Terms.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee availability, accuracy, reliability, or results from using the service.
